Welcome Welcome to the Chimneytots Pre-school website. We offer childcare for children from 2½ years old, at our Church End site in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire. We would like to share some information with you as a way of introducing ourselves to you and your family. |

Our Aims and Objectives are to: - Enhance and develop the education of the children under the statutory school age, in a parent/guardian involving community-based group
- Provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment
- Ensure equality of opportunity for all children

in Order to do this, Chimneytots offers: A specially tailored curriculum, leading to approved learning goals - Individual care and attention made possible by a high ratio of adults to children (1:4 for children under 3 years and 1:8 for children aged 3 yrs+)
- The support of a personal key person
- Opportunity for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the Pre-school and in your child's learning journey.
We would like to share the following quote with you, to help explain our purpose as a Pre-school: "Play is the child's main business in life; through play he learns to control his body and develops balance and co-ordination of the brain, eyes and limbs; through play he explores the material world, collects facts and learns to think; through play he works out his emotional problems and learns to control his primitive feelings; through play he learns to be a social being and take his place in the community.
